The Magic Flute-critics

“Thora excelled without doubt as Pamina, which comes as no surprise considering her recent performances. She is frankly speaking wonderful in the role… .”

DV, Jón Viðar Jónsson

“Thora was the star of the evening. She is excellent!”

Djöflaeyjan, RUV

Cultural television-program

“Some singers filled the big hall better than others. Best of all Sigrún Hjálmtýsdóttir and Thora Einarsdottir…..Thora acted and sang with excellence and showed unexpected intimacy in the second act aria”

Morgunblaðið

“ Most of the singers were fantastic. Gardar Thór has never been better and his voice sounded great in the hall’s acoustic, as well did Thora Einarsdottir who was a real joy to listen to.”

Fréttabaðið

“Most of the singing was good, some of it fantastic. The highlights of the evening were the duet between Pamina and Papageno when he saves her from Monostatos and the Pamina’s moving, sad aria when she thinks that Tamino no longer loves her.”
